ITEMS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION
Master of Science in Business Administration - Management Information Systems
for Information Technology Professionals

Please read the following instructions carefully when completing your application package. After completing all the items required, please send them to the address listed below. Applications cannot be processed until all information is complete.

Checklist For Items Required by the Rawls College of Business Administration:

- GRADUATE SCHOOL APPLICATION FORM - Instructions: Please fill out the form on-line at http://www.depts.ttu.edu/gradschool/. At that page, select “forms” from the right menu, then select the appropriate application on the next page. When you are prompted for the Term of Entry, select “Fall 2004.” When asked for your Intended Major, select “Business Administration.” The College/Degree you select should be “Graduate School/Master of Science.” From this point on, you enter all of your relevant data. When asked for full-time or part-time, select “Part-Time.”

- RAWLS COLLEGE OF BUSINESS APPLICATION FORM –– Instructions: Please fill out the form on-line at http://ms.ba.ttu.edu/MSBA/MSBA_Application/MSBA_Application_Process.asp. When you get to the application, please select “MS” for your degree and “MIS” for your major. Please note that we do not require letters of recommendation.

- ESSAY - Please type or print a one page essay regarding why you want to be part of the MBA program and what you hope to gain from the program.

- RESUME - Attach a current resume indicating your employment and education history. Please specify all of your management experience and number of employees supervised. Also include your cell phone or evening phone number, e-mail address, and fax number.

- TRANSCRIPTS –– Official transcripts from all previous colleges and universities attended should be submitted.  Please send transcripts to the address below.

- APPLICATION FEE - A nonrefundable application fee of $50 is required for all citizens and permanent residents of the United States. The application fee is $60 for international students.  Checks should be made payable to Texas Tech University.

APPLICATION DEADLINE –– Application materials are accepted any time for admission in Fall or Spring semesters.  Note: Students may begin the program as Graduate Temporary Students under certain conditions and apply for formal admission at a later date.

NOTIFICATION OF ADMISSIONS DECISIONS - Applicants will be notified about admission decisions as quickly as possible following receipt of their application materials.
